Mt5 Platform Terms & Conditions of Use
This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the use of the mt5 platform. Please read this document carefully in its entirety before registering for or using any of our services.
Effective date: 1 January 2026. This version applies to all mt5 platform users in Malaysia.
1. Acceptance of Terms of Use
By accessing, registering for, or using any part of the mt5 platform, you fully and unconditionally agree to all terms and conditions set out in this document. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are not permitted to use our platform.
Continued use of the mt5 platform following any amendments to these terms will be deemed acceptance of the latest version. Users are responsible for reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of any changes made.
The mt5 platform is open only to individuals aged 18 and above. By registering an account, you confirm that you have reached the required age and are legally eligible to use these services in your jurisdiction.
2. Account Creation & Security Responsibilities
Account Registration
Each user is permitted to hold only one active account on the mt5 platform. Registering multiple accounts under the same individual is prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being closed without prior notice. All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and up to date.
Password Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your username and password. mt5 will not be held liable for any losses arising from unauthorised access to your account resulting from your own negligence. Please contact customer support immediately if you suspect your account has been accessed without authorisation.
Identity Verification
Mt5 reserves the right to request identity verification at any time, particularly prior to processing withdrawals. Users are required to submit valid identification documents upon request. Failure to provide the required documents within the specified timeframe may result in a temporary suspension of account functions.
3. Platform Usage Rules & User Responsibilities
Users agree to use the mt5 platform solely for lawful purposes that are not in conflict with applicable local laws. The following activities are strictly prohibited on our platform:
- Using any automated software, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the platform without prior written consent
- Attempting to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the platform's systems or data
- Abusing promotions or bonuses in bad faith, including deliberate promotional arbitrage
- Using another person's account or allowing others to use your account
- Spreading false or misleading information about the mt5 platform
- Any activity that violates currently applicable Malaysian law
Violating any of the above rules may result in immediate account suspension or closure. mt5 reserves the right to withhold payments and forfeit account balances where fraud or misconduct can be proven.
4. Payment Information & Transactions in MYR
Official Currency
All transactions on the mt5 platform are conducted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Users are responsible for bearing any currency conversion costs that may be charged by third-party payment providers where applicable.
Deposit
Deposits to your mt5 account can be made via the payment methods listed on the platform at the relevant time. mt5 is not liable for any delays or deposit failures caused by technical issues on the part of the payment provider. All deposits are final and non-reversible once processed.
Withdrawals
Withdrawal requests will only be processed once an account has been fully verified. mt5 reserves the right to request additional supporting documents before approving any withdrawal. Processing times vary depending on the chosen payment method. Withdrawals will only be made to the same payment method used for the deposit, unless otherwise approved.
Taxes & Fees
Users are solely responsible for complying with all tax obligations relating to winnings or income earned through the mt5 platform in accordance with applicable Malaysian law. mt5 does not provide tax advice and accepts no liability for any user's tax obligations.
5. Limitation of Liability, Account Policy & Intellectual Property
Limitation of Liability
The mt5 platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, mt5 is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or punitive losses arising from the use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to service disruptions, technical errors, or loss of data.
Account Suspension & Closure
Mt5 reserves the right to suspend or close a user's account at any time for reasons including: breach of terms of use, suspected fraudulent activity, prolonged inactivity, or at the user's own request. Where an account is closed due to a breach, balances linked to fraudulent activity may be forfeited. Legitimate balances will be returned to the user within a reasonable timeframe.
Intellectual Property
All content, designs, logos, brand names, software, and other materials on the mt5 platform are the exclusive property of mt5 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users are prohibited from copying, distributing, modifying, or exploiting any platform content without prior written consent.
Third-Party Links
The mt5 platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. mt5 is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third-party sites. Use of any third-party site is entirely at the user's own risk.
6. Amendments to Terms & Governing Law
Right to Amend Terms
Mt5 reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. It is the user's responsibility to check this page periodically. Continued use of the platform after any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the use of the mt5 platform shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Malaysia.
